Facilities
The club's move in 2000 from it's former home, Napier's McLean Park, saw a brand new architectually designed clubrooms built at the city's major multi-sport complex, Park Island. The modern facility which overlooks Tremain Field No.1, includes a large well appointed glazed lounge with a stage area and club bar, Sky TV and surround sound. A well equiped kitchen run by the club's caterer, provides a wide selection of appetising foods for club functions. There is also a board/meeting room which is available for members/clubs use when required.
Adjacent to the clubrooms is a large team meeting and changing area, club equipment storage room and a large playing/training equipment room which also caters for the storage of our affiliate clubs gear. This latter area adjoins the main changing rooms and shower blocks.
TRAINING FACILITIES
The club has two trianing grounds with new top of the line floodlighting on Bond Field, which is adjacent to the clubrooms. There is also available a full assortment of modern training equipment for the club's teams to use.
PLAYING VENUE
The main rugby playing ground, with stand seating on Tremain Fields Nos.1 & 2, right in front of our clubrooms are the Hawke's Bay Rugby Union's only enclosed Napier rugby grounds outside of McLean Park.
The foresight shown by the club's administrators on the move to Park Island in 2000, has indeed given the Napier Old Boys Marist Club a head start for our membership, by having it's 'home' ground located at this prime venue.
