Napier Marist & Ex High Netball Clubs to Combine
It was great to see so many people at the recent 2010 AGM and playing in the mini tournament. Thank you for showing such awesome support for your club.
We welcomed Kay and Chris, representing Ex-High who are very keen to be partners with our club. There will be many areas that both clubs need to work through during the season with the goal of one single club by the beginning of 2011. As we work thru these areas the committee would like to thank you, in anticipation, for your support during this transition year.
Congratulations to Marist 1 (now called Ex High Marist) for taking up the mantle of 6th position in the Intercity league. Thanks to Ex High for gifting our club the spot. We wish you well and pledge our support 100%. After the pre-season match on Tuesday night at Sacred Heart against MAC the rumour is already going around that they are trying to stack their 2nd team for the playoff.......luckily Eastern Netball are on the case this year and will be scrutinizing the players that take the court. (not one to spread rumours!!)
Please note below the grades that we are registered in for 2010. Due to technical reasons to do with the Napier Netball Centre grading we have had to change the names of some of the teams. Sorry for the lack of consultation with teams affected, but I only had this morning to do it and contacted your No1 person for assistance. So just when you thought you knew who you were....try again!! Your team will be called this from now on. For those who feel the urge to complain, it is just a name and get over it!

We now have a new committee and we welcome our new members and look forward to their contribution as well as celebrating our returning members bringing back their experience and knowledge. A huge thank you to Loren for all her work over the past 2 years as treasurer. It won’t be the same firing loads of emails to her each week!
